The American Immigrant Wall of Honor® at Ellis Island is the only place in America where an individual can honor his or her family heritage at a National Monument. One Commemorative Certificate is included with name inscription; additional certificates are available for $15 each.
Note: Wall of Honor donations are tax-deductible. Names inscribed before the end of the calendar year appear on the Wall of Honor at Ellis Island at the beginning of the following summer.
First certificate is included with name inscription. Additional copies - $15 each
The American Immigrant Wall of Honor® Commemorative Certificates verify the inscription of a loved one on this memorial at Ellis Island. These Commemorative Certificates are professionally printed with the name of your Honoree, size 8.5" x 11". One Commemorative Certificate is included with a name inscription on the American Immigrant Wall of Honor®; additional Commemorative Certificates are available for $15 each.
Handsome wood frames or logo embossed document holders are available for purchase with your Commemorative Certificate. If you do not purchase a frame or document holder, your Commemorative Certificate will be sent as a stand-alone paper document.
Panel Reproduction - $30
Since the unveiling of The American Immigrant Wall of Honor® in 1990, the Wall has grown to include more than 700,000 names. Each stainless steel individual panel contains nearly 700 names, usually appearing alphabetically in six columns.
Panel Reproductions are printed on acid-free, archival 11" x 17" paper. Since the dates of inscription vary, ancestors with the same surname may appear on different Wall panels. Your Honoree will be highlighted on your Panel Reproduction. Logo embossed document holders are available for purchase with a panel reproduction.
Bio Certificate - $20
When you honor your family heritage on The American Immigrant Wall of Honor®, you also have the opportunity to add additional biographical information (up to 500 characters) about your Honoree(s) to our database, which will appear on your online profile. This bio may include City or Province of Origin, Year of Entry, and Name of Ship, if known. Remember, your Honoree need not have traveled through Ellis Island or the Port of New York to be part of this record.
When future members of your family come to Ellis Island, they will be able to look up your first family members in America and see the additional information you provided. This will also be attached to your online profile on our website. It's like having a "time capsule" for your descendants.
When you add this information to our database, you can purchase a Bio Certificate with this information for $20. Handsome wood frames or logo embossed document holders are available for purchase with your Bio Certificate. If you do not purchase a frame or document holder, your Bio Certificate will be sent as a stand-alone paper document.
